Marina Rheault Post experiments with wool and other fibers pushing the boundaries of their willingness to engage as she transforms them into compositions and felted sculptures. Working with wool, other fibers, and recently ceramics she explores fragmentation of the self, abandonment, loss, hope and redemption through recreating inner, remembered, or experienced landscapes. Her work is constantly informed by the felt sense of texture, color, and pattern. A seductive magic emerges within this infinite alchemy.

With each work and every step of the process I invite interaction with each element to elicit a synergy and an alchemy.
